The Diplomatic relations between Sri Lanka and Finland was established in 1954. The Embassy of Sri Lanka in Stockholm is concurrently accredited to Finland. Sri Lanka regarded Finland as an important partner especially it�s support for the Sri Lanka�s peace initiatives and sustainable development. Sri Lanka has maintained very cordial relations with Finland. Sri Lanka has an Honorary Consulate office in Helsinki.
